McCollough, wife of Dr. Gaylon McCollough.....a former Center for Alabama and holder of at least one National Championship ring.....has a tremendous, world wide recognition in the world of art.

Okay, this is going to be a short CFNewsletter.....why, you ask?
Because I'm super busy with a new gig! I'm overseeing a new subdivision, called
Reunion Pointe! All you RV'rs, or maybe your friends of RV'rs......you need to have a look at this concept. Stop out and visit us on West 98, 1/2 block East of CR 65.
But the main reason?
So, at 2:00 pm on the 31st, I'm setting down to start the newsletter.....that's about 5 days later than usual. It generally takes me about 20 hours.....no, I'm not kidding, to put this little baby to bed. So what makes it even more difficult today?
At 2:05 we make a snap decision to head to a Nebraska game! The lure of reading all the message boards about the upcoming season, the excitement of a night game.....it was just overwhelming! A quick call to the Mrs. confirmed that she
needs little excuse to visit "home". A quick trip to StubHub came up with this
view....at a premium $$! Well worth it.....if we win!
So who can blame me!?!? Huskers or Newsletter?
Sorry folks, no vacation this year, so Huskers win.....by a landslide!
It's called a slight change of plans!
But I won't leave you high and dry! There's a few items I was asked to include this month and I can't let the best season of the year go by without the usual comments.
This has to be the best opening week of College Football in my memory! 10 days of great match-ups, including a Sunday and Monday game. Get the junk off your VCR's....I mean, DVR's and make some space for these important games below!

Blasphemy, I tell ya! How can the old one be replaced?
Well, here's the song that's going to do it. It will be interesting to see how they integrate it into GameDay.

As a nice little bonus, here is a picture taken Monday night at the Gulf Coast Athletic Club's first meeting of the year. This is a picture of Susan and her Father, Max Nomberg, who is proud to share that he is enjoying his 99th year. Max will celebrate his 100th birthday in January! 99.....seriously, I don't look that good at 63!
